Agriculture Industrial Tools and Equipment
Agriculture Equipment and Tools consist of those tools used to manipulate the soil, to seed or plant the land and to harvest crops. Agriculture equipment also includes those tools used for the many related activities such as irrigation, drainage, the construction of buildings, fences and storage silos, land clearing and general maintenance of machines. Ever since we first began growing plants to consume them, we've used tools to help them grow and to collect them at harvest. We used pointed tools to dig and loosen the soil and sharp bladed tools to cut down the plants. Improvements to these early tools are still used on farms and in small gardens today, such as the shovel, hoe, rake, trowel, and scythe. The development of larger implements, such as plows and cultivators drawn by tractors increased productivity to feed entire populations.

Kinds of Agriculture Equipment
Modern large agricultural machines, adapted to farming methods, are usually powered by diesel or gasoline engines. The most important tool for the modern farm is the tractor. Used in many aspects of the farming process, the tractor serves multiple purposes in all five areas of farming including the following:
Planting Equipment
Thousands of planting tools have been developed for growing crops. These activities include breaking the ground, planting, weeding, fertilizing, and fighting pests.
Fertilizing Equipment
Once the seeds have been planted, fertilizer can be distributed during or before seeding time. Commercial fertilizers are commonly distributed, along with seeds, by seed drills and planters.
Grain Harvesting Equipment
Most grain and cereal crops are harvested by using a combine - a machine that removes the fruiting heads, beats off the grain kernels, and cleans the grain as the combine moves through the fields.
Irrigation and Drainage Equipment
For centuries irrigation and drainage systems have improved our ability to grow all sorts of plants under a variety of conditions. From rice paddies to corn fields, the installation of a pipe irrigation or drainage system gives you more control over the moisture content of the soil than ever before.
